* Students’ first time at the site will be free exploration
* During the free exploration, let students look at each other's designs
* Discuss what elements are needed for a snowflake design
.....Interesting "points."
.....Leaving "Bridges" between cut-outs
.....Having a variety of cut-out shapes.
.....and What is possible versus what they can "do" on the computer

POWERPOINT   Each partner does the following
*Select a blank slide
*Insert the snowflake picture from file (It fills the entire slide)
*Insert text box...Starting at the upper left hand corner, drag to the upper right hand corner
*Increase font-48 Bold seems to work and choose center alignment.
*Type the Haiku poem
*Their names have a reduced font (28) and right alignment
*Let them choose their slide transition (do not choose Flash Once)
*Picture and text box should be animated and set for automatically after 0 sec.
.....Text box-first in order of animation..their choice
.....Snowflake picture-animate with crawl option
*Save to the floppy disk
*Teacher imports their slideshow presentation into one class presentation.
.....Now record their readings of their poems
     >Insert movies & sound..record sound
.....Animate the recording (media clip) and set for automatically after 0 sec.
.....Make this sound media clip the second element in the order of animation
.....Check continuing the slide show while playing and stop playing after current slide
.....Check hide while not playing
.....I saved the entire presentation to the hard drive.  It ended up being 3.5MB
*A large presentation device is nice to have for your "show"
